CRANBERRY BREAD 
2 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 egg, beaten
1 c. ground or chopped raw cranberries
1/2 c. orange marmalade
1/4 c. boiling water
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped nuts

1. Stir together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside. 2. Cream sugar and butter until fluffy. 3. Stir in egg and cranberries. 4. Blend marmalade, water and soda; stir into creamed mixture. 5. Stir in flour mixture until well blended. 6. Stir in nuts. 7. Pour into 2 greased 8 x 4 x 2 inch loaf pans and bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. 8. Cool pans on rack for 10 minutes, then turn out of pans and cool completely.
