CRANBERRY COOKIE BARS 
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. fresh or frozen cranberries, chopped
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13x2 inch pan. In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt. In a second bowl, cream butter and both sugars; add eggs one at a time, beating until fluffy. Stir in vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients. Stir in cranberries and nuts. Spread in greased pan. Bake for 30 minutes, then cut into bars.
