STRAWBERRY JAM CAKE | |
1 c. butter 2 c. sugar 3 eggs 1 c. strawberry jam 3 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 3 tbsp. cocoa 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 c. buttermilk 1/2 c. pecans, broken Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add jam and beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Sift all dry ingredients together and add alternately with buttermilk. Add nuts and mix well. Line two 9 inch cake pans with wax paper and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. |
