RASPBERRY BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. oatmeal
2 tbsp. water
1 c. raspberry jam

Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Sift dry ingredients except oatmeal together. Stir into creamed mixture. Add oatmeal and 1 tablespoon water. Mix well until crumbly. Pat 1/2 mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan.

Spread a layer of raspberry jam. Add 1 tablespoon water to remaining crumbly mixture. Sprinkle over top. Pat smooth. Bake at 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. Cool, cut into bars.
