2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar

Mix together the above ingredients.

1 whole egg
1 tbsp. mustard
Scant cup warm water

Beat together. Add to sugar mixture 1/4 cup vinegar in a pan, heat to bubble, then add other ingredients, stir until thick. When done add 1 tablespoons butter.
