CORNED BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 can corned beef
1 onion, chopped
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 (8 oz.) pkg. macaroni, cooked
1 "soup can" milk
Pepper to taste
8 oz. cheese, lg. grated
Paste of 1/4 c. milk and flour

TOPPING:

Slices of bread buttered and cut into strips, 3 strips per slice

Cook macaroni until barely firm. Add onion to meat and mix. Add rest of ingredients except macaroni and cheese. Drain macaroni and stir into meat mixture. Heat slowly while preparing topping.

Add cheese to meat mixture and top with buttered bread strips. Bake at 400 degrees until crust is browned.
