POTATO CUSTARD 
5 med. size sweet potatoes
1 c. sweet milk
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1/2 lb. butter
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Boil or bake sweet potatoes and mash sweet potatoes thoroughly. Add pecans or raisins if desired. Line pie plate with pastry. Pour mixture in pie plate. Bake until brown.
