BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 pkg. dried onion soup
1 chuck roast
1/4 c. chopped onion
3 (6 oz.) cans mushrooms
3 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
12 oz. water
1 c. sour cream
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 c. chopped celery

Sprinkle onion soup mix on top of roast. Cook roast in 350 degree oven for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Cut into bite-size pieces. Brown onion and celery.

Add mushrooms, tomato paste, water, salt and pepper. Simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Then add meat and continue cooking at least 1 hour. Just before serving stir in sour cream. Serve over broad noodles.
