PICANTE SAUCE 
3 qt. chopped tomatoes
3 med. onions, chopped
3 cloves of garlic
2 tbsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. white vinegar
Jalepeno peppers to your taste

Simmer 20 minutes. Jar and process 20 minutes. Makes 7 to 8 pints.

Mild = 3 peppers. Medium = 5 peppers. Hot = 8 to 10 peppers.

I run tomatoes, onions, peppers and garlic through the food processor.
