PICANTE SAUCE 
3 qts. tomatoes, chopped
2 green bell peppers, chopped
3 sweet banana peppers, chopped
6 Jalapeno peppers, chopped
3 med. onions, chopped
6 cloves garlic, crushed
1 1/2 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
Cayenne pepper and cumin

Mix together first 9 ingredients in large saucepan over medium heat. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to simmer and cook uncovered for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Simmer longer if thicker sauce is desired. Fill jars. Add dash of cayenne and cumin to each jar, stirring lightly. Seal and process in boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Yields: 15 pints.
