CHOCOLATE BOURBON BALLS 
1 (6 oz.) pkgs. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
3 tbsp. corn syrup
1/2 c. bourbon
2 1/2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
1/2 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1 c. finely chopped nuts
Granulated sugar

Melt over hot (not boiling) water semi-sweet chocolate morsels; remove from heat. Add corn syrup and bourbon. In large bowl, combine vanilla wafer crumbs, confectioners' sugar, and nuts; add chocolate mixture and mix well. Let stand about 30 minutes. Form into 1 inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Let season in covered container for several days. Makes 4 1/2 dozen bourbon balls.
