GEORGE HAROLD'S POT PIE 
3/4 c. cooked turkey
1 potato
1 apple
1 onion
5 figs
Raisins
Nuts, optional
Ground cloves
Ground allspice
2 to 3 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. parsley
1 tsp. sage
Pinch of rosemary
1 tsp. thyme
1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar

Mince all ingredients in left hand column together. Add spices and sugar. Add about 1 cup orange juice. Let marinate overnight or longer. Mix pastry for 2 crust pie. Chill. When ready to bake, add enough flour to the filling to absorb the liquid, it makes a sticky mixture. Roll out one pie crust and place in 9 inch pie pan. Add the filling. Roll out the second pie crust and cover. Cut holes in the top crust.

Bake in oven at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, lower temperature to 350 degrees and cook until done. Reheats well.
