COOKIE SHEET CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
1 stick butter
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda (baking)
1 tsp. vanilla

ICING:

1/2 c. butter
2 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Cake: Sift flour and sugar. In a pan bring to boil the shortening, butter, water and cocoa. Pour over flour mixture while still hot. Add beaten eggs, buttermilk, soda and vanilla. Bake at 400 degrees 15 to 20 minutes in large, greased cookie sheet. (DO NOT OVER BAKE!)

Icing: Bring to a boil butter, cocoa and milk. Add sugar, vanilla and nuts. Spread over cake while both are hot.
