1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
8 oz. chocolate chips

Blend first 3 ingredients then add eggs and vanilla. Add last 3 ingredients. Blend well. Fold in chocolate chips. Spread evenly on cookie sheet and bake 375°F for 25 to 30 minutes.
