CHOCOLATE CRACKLES 
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/3 c. salad oil
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. powdered sugar

Melt chocolate chips. Combine with sugar and oil. Add eggs one at a time, beat well. Add vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to chocolate mixture. Stir in nuts. Chill dough at least 1 hour. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough in powdered sugar, roll to coat. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 4 dozen.
