WHITE CHRISTMAS PIE 
1 env. unflavored gelatin
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1 3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Several drops almond extract
3 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. whipping cream
1 c. coconut
1 baked pie shell

In saucepan mix together gelatin, 1/2 cup sugar, flour, add milk all at once. Cook and stir until bubbly. Cook and stir 2 more minutes after it boils. REMOVE.

Add vanilla, almond extract and chill in refrigerator until the consistency of beaten egg whites. Immediately beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form, then gradually add sugar until stiff peaks form; fold in egg whites in gelatin mixture. Fold in cream and coconut. Pour in pie shell. Chill 4 hours or until firm.
