PUMPKIN-PECAN BREAD 
3 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
2 eggs
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. maple syrup
1.4 c. oil
1/2 c. golden or dark raisins
1/2 c. chopped pecans
confectioner's sugar

About 2 1/2 hours before serving or day ahead: Grease 9 x 5 loaf pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, mix first 6 ingredients. In medium bowl, beat eggs with pumpkin, brown sugar, maple syrup, and oil. Stir into flour mixture until flour is moistened. Stir in raisins and pecans. Spoon into loaf pan. Bake 1 1/4 hours or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool bread in pan on wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan. To serve, sprinkle with confectioner's sugar.
