CAKE:

1 box white cake mix
1 box pistachio pudding mix
3 eggs
1 c. oil minus 1 tbsp.
1 c. gingerale
1/2 c. pecans (if desired)

Mix ingredients together and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.

ICING:

1 box pistachio pudding mix
1 can Eagle Brand milk
1 lg. bowl Cool Whip

Mix ingredients in a large bowl and chill for a few minutes before putting on the cake.
