1 c. sugar
1 c. half and half
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour

Mix in order given. May need a little more flour to roll. Cool 1 hour and roll thin. Bake at 350 degrees. Watch when to take out.
