1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
Confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter and chocolate in saucepan and set aside to cool. When cool add next 4 ingredients. Stir in flour by hand (takes a few minutes). Form into 1 inch balls. May need to press together as mixture can be crumbly. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 7-9 minutes. Roll in confectioners' sugar while still warm.
