SZEGEDINER GOULASH 
1 lb. pork
1 tbsp. fat (shortening)
2 onions, sliced
1 lb. tomatoes, chopped
1 lb. sauerkraut
Salt
Paprika
4 potatoes
8 oz. water
8 oz. wine or cider

Cut meat in cubes. Melt shortening in pan. Add meat. When meat is starting to brown add onions, tomatoes and sauerkraut. Add water. Cover. Bring to a quick boil. Lower heat, simmer until meat is done. Add wine or cider just before serving. Stewing time - 1 1/2 hours.
