TAFFY APPLE SALAD | |
1 tbsp. flour 8 oz. can crushed, pineapple (drain & save juice) 1 egg, slightly beaten 2 tbsp. cider vinegar 1/2 c. sugar 4 c. Granny Smith apples 1 c. salted peanuts 8 oz. Cool Whip 1. Combine flour, pineapple juice, egg, cider vinegar and sugar in a saucepan. Heat and stir over medium heat until thick. Let cool. 2. Core (do not peel) and cut up apples into bite size pieces. 3. Combine apples, crushed pineapple and peanuts; set aside. 4. Add Cool Whip to cooled mixture. |
