2/3 c. (sm. can) evaporated milk
1 2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. (16 med.) diced marshmallows
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips

Mix together milk, sugar and salt in saucepan over low heat. Heat to boiling. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add marshmallows, chocolate chips, vanilla and nuts. Stir 1-2 minutes or until marshmallows melt. Pour into buttered 9 inch square pan. Cool; cut into squares.
