1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 c. oil
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
1 med. size head cabbage, shredded
1 lg. white onion, sliced thin

In container put layer of cabbage, then layer of onion. Do this twice. Bring the above ingredients to a boil and pour over cabbage and onions. Cover and chill.
