SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN WINGS 
10-12 wings
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. cornstarch
1 egg, beaten
1 c. boiling water or chicken broth
1/4 c. ketchup
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. salt

Boil chicken wings for about 5 minutes. Save broth (boiling water can be substituted for 1 cup of broth). Brown wings in oil. Dip wings in egg and roll in cornstarch with garlic powder added to it.

Arrange wings in baking dish. Make sauce from rest of ingredients and cup of chicken broth. Pour over wings. Bake at 375 degrees for about 1 hour.
