CRICKET'S MEAT LOAF | |
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1/4 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. vinegar 1 tsp. mustard 1 egg, lightly beaten 1 med. onion, chopped 1/4 c. cracker crumbs 2 lbs. ground beef 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. black pepper Combine tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar and mustard in small bowl and set aside. Combine eggs, onion, cracker crumbs, ground beef, salt and pepper in mixing bowl. Add 1/2 cup tomato mixture and mix thoroughly. Shape in loaf. Pour rest of tomato sauce on top of meat in micro-proof dish. Cook uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until center is cooked. Cover meat and let stand 10 minutes. |
