MICROWAVE BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 to 1 1/2 lbs. sirloin (cut in cubes)
1 med. onion (sliced)
1 clove garlic (chopped)
1 can condensed beef broth
1 tbsp. chives
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. red wine or water
1 carton sour cream (8 oz.)
1 can mushrooms (4 oz.)

Place meat, garlic and onions in 2 quart covered casserole. Cover and microwave for 8 to 10 minutes on high. Stir in broth, mushrooms and chives.

Combine cornstarch and wine or water in small bowl until smooth and stir into meat mixture. Recover and microwave for 18 to 22 minutes on medium high. Mix in sour cream, recover and continue for 3 to 4 minutes on medium high or until heated through. Let stand covered another 5 minutes. Serve over hot buttered noodles.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
