HERB ONION BREAD 
3 1/4 c. flour
2 pkgs. yeast
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sage
1/2 tsp. crushed rosemary
1/4 tsp. ground thyme
1/4 c. butter
1 c. chopped onion
1 1/4 c. warm water
1 egg

In large mixer bowl combine 1 1/2 cups flour, yeast, salt, sage, rosemary and thyme. Saute onion in butter until golden brown. Add to flour mixture. Add water and eggs. Blend at low speed until moistened. Beat 3 minutes at medium. By hand gradually stir in remaining flour to make stiff batter. Spoon into greased 2 quart casserole. Cover and let rise in warm place, about 1 hour. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
