GRANDMA DONNA'S CHICKEN
VEGETABLE BREASTS
 
3 or 4 chicken breasts

Either skin on or skin off, either bone in or bone out (skinless boneless is best).

2 sm. green bell peppers, cut into rings
1 lg. onion, cut into rings
6 to 8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
1 can French onion soup
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 can of water
Salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place chicken in casserole dish. Put peppers, onions and mushrooms on top. Salt and pepper. Mix soups and water in mixing bowl. Pour over chicken. Cook 1 hour or until tender. Serve over rice, noodles or with baked potato.
