1 lb. ground beef
1 sm. onion
1 tsp. salt and pepper
1 lb. 11 oz. can sauerkraut, drained
2 c. uncooked wide egg noodles
1 can cream of celery soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Brown ground beef and onion together; drain fat. Put into large casserole, layer of ground beef, layer of sauerkraut, another layer of ground beef then sauerkraut and put uncooked noodles on top.

Spread soups over noodles. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Spread cheese on top and bake 30 minutes more.
