ONION CHEESE BREAD | |
2 1/4 c. water 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese 1 pkg. onion soup mix 1 tsp. salt 2 tbsp. sugar 5 c. flour 1 pkg. yeast Combine water, cheese, onion soup mix, salt, sugar and oil. Add 2 cups flour and yeast. Blend thoroughly. Add 3 cups flour or enough to form dough. Knead until not sticky. Let rise in oiled bowl until double. Divide as desired (loaves, rolls, etc.). Let rise again. Bake in hot oven, 375 to 400 degrees, until done. Note that pans should be greased well and that the dough has beef bouillon in it from the onion soup mix, so crust will look very brown. |
