COMPANY'S COMIN' COOKIES | |
1 c. butter 1 c. granulated sugar 1 c. packed brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 3 c. old fashioned or quick oats, uncooked 1 c. chopped nuts Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture; mix well. Stir in oatmeal and nuts. Shape dough in a roll 2 1/2 inches in diameter; wrap in aluminum foil. Place in freezer 2 hours. Cut dough into 1/4 inch slices; place on ungreased cookie sheets, 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Approximately 4 dozen cookies. |
