TEXAS PECAN PIE 
1 1/2 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. pecan halves
3/4 tsp. vanilla
9" pie shell

Combine sugars, water, flour and salt in a small bowl and mix well. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add milk and mix well. Stir in pecans and vanilla. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Cook in preheated oven at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce to 350 degrees and cook 35 to 40 minutes more, or until puffed in center and browned. Cool before cutting.
