2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs
4 c. diced apples
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. baking soda

Combine sugar, eggs, oil and apples. Sift together remaining ingredients. Add to apple mixture. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch greased cake pan and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serve hot, warm, or cold, plain, frosted or with whipped cream.
