SHORT CUT GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 German chocolate cake mix

FROSTING:

1 can evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
2 c. coconut
1 stick butter
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Mix and bake cake mix into 2 round layers. Let cool.

Cook and stir all the above frosting ingredients until the mixture thickens. Cool frosting until just warm and place between the 2 cake layers and on top.
