WILD RICE AND SAUSAGE CASSEROLE | |
1/2 lb. (or 1 lb.) bulk sausage 1 med. onion 1 med. bell pepper 1/2 c. celery Brown sausage, add vegetables and saute until tender. Add: 1 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain wild rice mix 1 c. regular or wild rice 1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted 1/2 can water 1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained Place in 2-quart casserole; cover with foil and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until rice is tender. |
