SNAPPY GLAZED MEATBALLS | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 sm. onion 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs 1 tsp. salt 1 c. chili sauce In medium bowl, combine ground beef, egg, onion, bread crumbs and salt; mix well. Shape mixture into 1 inch balls. In large skillet over medium low heat, brown meatballs; drain. Add chili sauce and grape jelly. Simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Transfer meatballs to chafing dish. Yields 30 servings. TIPS: Meatballs can be baked in 15x10 inch jelly roll pan at 325 for 25 to 30 minutes. Cocktail franks can also be used. |
