PIZZELES 
1 doz. eggs
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. oil
1 lemon (juice and rind)
1 bottle anise flavoring
6 c. flour (sifted)
6 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of salt

Beat eggs until creamy. Stir in the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Use teaspoon (not heaping) to spoon on iron. Dip spoon in glass of oil and make sure iron is hot and well greased.
