PECAN PIE 
2 (9-inch) pie crusts
1 box light brown sugar
1 stick butter
4 eggs
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp. corn meal
2 tbsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped pecans
2 tbsp. water

Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs, corn meal, water, vanilla, salt, and pecans. Mix well. Pour into pie crust. Pie crust will be crispier if baked for 1 minute prior to filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes until firm.
