GARBAGE PLATE CASSEROLE
A Rochester, NY favorite!

1 lb. shredded hash browns
1 lb. ground beef, divided
1 lb. prepared macaroni salad
ketchup (Hunts)
mustard (Hellmann's or Best Foods)
1 onion, diced
1 tbsp. red pepper flakes
1 tbsp. FRANK'S® RedHot hot sauce
salt and pepper, to taste

Butter dish (I use a glass rectangular dish). Place shredded hash browns (frozen preferred) or shredded potatoes in dish. Place 1/2 cooked ground beef (do not break up too much - cook like cooking burgers, not like tacos). Do not overcook.

Place already made macaroni salad as second layer (homemade or store bought).

Take remaining ground beef and cook in separate pan. Sauté in salt and pepper, add hot sauce and red pepper flakes. Place on top of macaroni salad layer. Add ketchup and mustard on top of it and cover with aluminum foil.

Bake at 350°F for 30 to 45 minutes depending upon your oven. Check to see if it is cooked before serving.
