HAM STEAK COUNTRY STYLE 
2 c. thinly sliced potatoes
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
1 c. thinly sliced onion
1 tsp. thyme
1 (1 to 1 1/2 lb.) boneless ham steak
2 c. milk

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Butter a 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Arrange potato slices on bottom of dish, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover with onions, sprinkle with thyme. Top with ham. Pour milk over all. Cover and bake for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender. Serve.
