SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 lb. butter
3 c. plain flour
1 sm. carton sour cream
1 tbsp. vanilla or lemon flavor
6 eggs
3 c. sugar
1/4 c. milk with 1/2 tsp. baking powder dissolved in it

Cream butter, sugar and Crisco. Add eggs one at a time. Add sour cream and flour alternately beginning and ending with flour. Next add milk and flavoring. Cook 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours in tube well greased pan.
