SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE | |
1/2 dozen eggs 1/2 lb. butter 3 c. sugar 3 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream Separate eggs. Beat egg whites and set aside. Sift flour, salt and soda. To egg yellows, add sugar and butter, followed by flour and sour cream. Fold in egg whites. Bake in floured tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
