CRANBERRY PIE 
1 1/2 c. cranberries
1 c. water
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. cut up dates

Cook until tender, the cranberries, water and soda. Add sugar, flour and dates. Cook until clear, then add 1/2 c. nuts (I use walnuts) and 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell. Cool. Serve with whipped cream.
