CABBAGE SALAD 
1 medium head cabbage
1 small onion
1/2 c. sugar

Cut up cabbage with knife. Grate small onion on top of cabbage. Sprinkle sugar over cabbage and onions. Pour sauce over cabbage mixture. Refrigerate at least 4 hours. Toss lightly just before serving.

Sauce:

1 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 c. peanut oil
1/2 c. vinegar

In a saucepan, mix ingredients. Boil and stir 2 minutes.
