JANIS' PICO DE GALLO | |
2 medium tomatoes, cored, seeded and chopped 1 small white onion, chopped 3 tbsp. chopped pickled jalapeño peppers (select your own level of "hotness") 2 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro (or 2 tsp. dried cilantro) Juice of 1/2 lime (or 2 tbsp. bottled lime JUICE) 1 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tbsp. olive oil 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. salt Mix all ingredients and refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving, stirring occasionally to mix flavors.
