ROUND STEAK PARMESAN | |
1 1/2 lb. round steak 1 egg, beaten 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1/3 c. bread crumbs 1/3 c. Crisco oil 1 diced onion 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. sugar 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 2 c. hot water 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese Pound steak and cut into serving pieces. Dip into beaten egg and roll in cheese and bread mixture. Brown in oil. Put in shallow glass dish. Dice onion in the same skillet and add other ingredients except Mozzarella cheese. Boil for 5 minutes. Pour tomato mixture over meat. Top with grated or sliced Mozzarella. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or longer. |
