FOUR SEASONS PUMPKIN BREAD | |
3 1/2 c. flour 2 2/3 c. sugar 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. cloves 2/3 c. butter, butter or cooking oil 4 eggs, unbeaten 2/3 c. water 2 tsp. cinnamon 1 can pumpkin (or 2 c.) 1 tsp. salt 1 c. raisins 1/2 c. cherries (maraschino), red and green (mix for Christmas) 1 tsp. baking soda 1 c. nuts Mix all together in large bowl and beat 1 minute. Add nuts, raisins, cherries last. Put in 2 large loaf pans or 3 small greased well. Bake 350 degrees for 40 to 60 minutes. |
