SCALLOPED APPLES 
6 lg. apples, peeled, cored & sliced
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 c. water
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. butter
1/4 c. flour

Put apples in casserole dish. Add next 4 ingredients and toss with apples. In a small bowl measure sugar, butter and flour; work together with a fork until the mixture is crumb-like. Spread over apples. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes. 6 servings.
