2 sticks butter
1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar, grated
dash of Tabasco
2 c. flour
dash of salt
3 tbsp. cold water
pecan halves

Mix butter and grated Cheddar at room temperature. Add Tabasco. Add flour. Mix like cookie dough. Add water; mix further until ready to roll out. Roll out and cut with round cookie cutter. Place half pecan on round and fold over, crimping edges.

Bake at 350°F for 12 to 15 minutes. Will freeze. Heat before serving.
